What does this offer?

Every flag in the collection appears here, grouped by region and then listed alphabetically inside each group. The filter box matches on country name as you type, so it is usually faster than scrolling. The regions run from Africa through Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Oceania, with United States state flags as a separate group at the end.

Territories are listed under the region they sit in geographically rather than under the country that administers them, which is why French overseas departments appear in the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean rather than in Europe.

How to find the flags?

Region is only one way in. If you know what a flag looks like but not where it comes from, try the colour index, the design index or the symbol index instead. For flags that do not belong to a country at all, see the non-national listing.
